We came and we went. And now the John Denver song is stuck in all our heads! We went to Charleston, West Virginia. It’s a capitol city and it is full of small shops, cafés, and a few museums. We learned some things about West Virginia’s culture and history. It was a great trip, but a short one. There’s not much more to do that cannot be accomplished in two full days. We cut our trip short one day as we had seen it all. It was a great experience for our family, but it’s definitely a "one and done" to check off our list. See the fun below:
