Pools, parties, & princesses

It has been a super busy summer 😎 and we have been living at the pool!

We also have had family visiting from California. Zanny and Scarlett are the same ages as my girls and it is always a girl's squad when they are in town ❤️

Summer Vibes 😎

It's finally the last day for the Kaneland school district. Geez, that was the longest school year ever. But it was full of a lot of "firsts" for us all. 

Isla is on her way to first grade. It is so hard to believe. She has blossomed into a vivacious, articulate little learner. She has absolutely surprised us with her ability to read so well. She has made wonderful friends too.

Estelle finished a few days earlier from preschool. She had a fun little luau party to end the year. On to pre-K in the fall! She has also completely blossomed and has made wonderful lifelong friends. She's learned so much new information. We are so very proud of her!

Onto summer break adventures! The pool has officially opened and we have a jampacked agenda of fun. Not to mention about a dozen more birthday parties! Seriously, every weekend there is a birthday party. Sometimes two in one Saturday! Ahh to be young again!

The Mom Bod

 Oh my - do I have my work cut out for me! I am one heffer after having my third baby. Time to hit the gym hard! 

I really need to focus on getting back in shape (after I just ate a cheese danish 🙄). BUT I have all good intentions of burning that off when I do the 2 mile walk back to olgilvie.

So of course like many of my other dreams I want to go above and beyond. I would really like to be at the point where I could do a bikini competition. Is that even realistic?! No! But I dream big! Baby steps, but I am going to put forward my greatest effort ever... while juggling work and three kids 😂
