Yes just one more 💤 until we leave for our trip early tomorrow morning! We are all giddy with excitement for the drive! It’s about 8 hours to West Virginia. Prayers for a safe drive through the Appalachian Mountains 🏔 we are excited to check out the town and restaurants. There are some cool museums too. We are ready for our next adventure 🔥 🏕 🧳 🚙 ✈️ 🗺
Yes Christmas is all over. It was a wonderful day! Christmas Eve was a new tradition having dinner at Catherine’s house. It’s saved me from hosting which I am totally OK with! Christmas morning was low-key here at the house. Very modest in terms of presents and I am totally OK with that. We plan to take our Christmas cash and go on a trip. It was Wyatt’s first Christmas also, even though he didn’t really get much LOL. What does an 8 month old need? Besides, he got goodies from family. Now comes the ugly part... cleaning up this house and making room for new toys.
It’s been a crazy holiday season. Lots going on between work, school functions, household activities, and holiday gatherings. Our heads are spinning and our weekends are flying by. Fortunately, I got lots of Christmas shopping done last month with Justin. I’m actually spending these last few days before Christmas just relaxing. I have maybe one more thing to get which is no big deal. So this Saturday I decided to spend some quality time with my girls. I had to run to Walmart, but afterwards we had a delicious lunch, ice cream, and stop at the park! We love spending time downtown Geneva. It has the most adorable shops and restaurants ❤️
We also saw the amazing Larson Lights! Great show this year 👍🏻
