Here’s hoping!

Well we wanted to do that small trip to Kansas and Nebraska this past summer, but it just didn’t work out because Wyatt was just too little. He would have only been 3 months and this summer was a hot one. Not to mention Justin and I completely ate through all our PTO.

So we just finished our big Disney trip and I’m already itching for another getaway. Last year we went to mall of America during New Year’s eve. We thought this was a fun idea to start a new tradition by spending New Year’s Eve out of town. Charleston West Virginia is only 8ish hours away and doable for a 4-5 night trip. We need to check this state off & quite honestly, this is just about all you can do in this state at this time of year. It’s definitely an outdoors state that has much more going on in the warmer months.

This is a Capitol city with small town charm. I’m hoping we can use our Christmas cash to enjoy some time away! There are museaums, shopping, and awesome looking food. Stay tuned! I’m also working on a spring break getaway... more to come on this! πŸ–πŸš—✈️πŸ—ΊπŸŒ‡

Half a year

It’s hard to believe Wyatt is already 6 months! The time has flown by. He is sitting up with some assistance. Eating new baby foods. He babbles and giggles. He tries to wiggle his fat little body all over. He usually rolls to where he wants to go. He is just so precious πŸ’“

Oh Tootles!

Wow what an adventure! We finally did the "Big Disney Trip" and it was a doosey! Overall a super great time yet there were many hiccups along the way. Just a few being the loss of Justin’s hat, sunglasses, and my wallet full of money ☹️😭. The trip was smooth until we hit Atlanta on the way down. What a hell hole. I HATE Atlanta!

Then we had a hard time finding a hotel. Apparently a large race was going on. The next day was better. Smooth sailing to Disney and then some poolside fun until we hit up the Halloween party at the magic kingdom πŸŽƒ.

We did the kingdom again the next day. Ananias kingdom and Epcot to follow and that is when I lost my wallet. Sometime after dinner at Epcot πŸ˜’. What a magic killer. I have lost my faith in humanity! Someone had a fun time spending our money.

We did a typhoon lagoon pool day to rest and recoup. It was hot and lots of work. Tons of walking and all the "ins and outs" of strollers definitely contributed to the loss of items.

We ended the Disney trip with MGM. We enjoyed seeing the new toy story land. We spent a lot, we walked a lot, we saw a lot, and cooked a lot in the sun. Wyatt was wonderful and the girls were so good. I am so blessed with my little familyπŸ’“.

Destin followed for the Noble wedding. We definitely needed a little beach time πŸ– and we left just in time before Hurricane Michael came and literally destroyed everything 😰

And you can’t forget about beautiful Destin! Oh my was it HOT πŸ”₯! But that beautiful ocean made those strong rays worth it 😎!
