This summer has been wet, cold, and sad. Seriously terrible weather. It's been the same battle every spring to get the yard ready. The pittards verses Mother Nature. We sadly can never win. Somehow amidst the abundance of rain, we scramble to get things pulled together. Thank goodness for Justin and my Dad!!
So one day I brought home the Disney movie "Toy Story" because it was $9.99 in the clearance bin. Little did I know that it would become such an obsession in our house. Isla has been infatuated with Woody and Buzz ever since, however she does favor Buzz just a tad bit more. So we decided a Buzz Birthday Bash would be completely appropriate. So in the very over the top fashion that I usually do parties, I went on etsy and spent too much money. Buzz tutu all the way. And Jessie dress to match too! Needless to say for the price I paid these will double as Halloween costumes! Here are the birthday pictures:

Welcome to the Buzz Bash. The things that I do for my children. It was a Pizza
Planet themed party with pizza, mozzarella sticks, salad and tons of goodies. The alien cupcakes were probably the best part. It all looked great and Isla was thrilled.
She is getting too big. Be still my beating heart! Time for presents!

It was an amazing party. The only thing missing was mom. Isla was her girl. I can't deny she showed a little favoritism to her first born granddaughter. They were best friends. We miss her so much.
Side note: we celebrated our 8 year dating anniversary! Yay!

We got lots of dress up gifts for Isla. She got Ariel, Jessie, and sleeping beauty. She is so happy!
Oh and this little butterball just keeps growing!! I get to start babysitting him in August :)
