Here comes Halloween

I am so behind on this blog, it's just unacceptable. It's been a rough semester with school among huge job changes that have become more demanding! So here is a crash course of our fall leading up to Halloween!!
We went to a fall festival at peck farm, super cute and small enough to enjoy everything!!
The girls got to pick their own pumpkins!
We had a mild fall as you can see! Warm weather with a very late changing of the colors peak!
Enjoying peck farm with an almost 80 degree day! We were sweating so bad!
I luckily brought a change of summer clothes!!
We went to the zoo on September 29th to honor my moms birthday, the first one without her....
I did my annual little fall photo shoot, one of many :)
We are always thinking of grammie !
Avery turned one :)
Enjoying the fall weather !
Goofy girls in their Halloween jammies.
Dressing up is not just for Halloween at this house :)
Carving pumpkins as a family.
Isla's preschool Halloween parade, super cute !
She rocked it!!
The final decision for Halloween day was a cupcake and cowgirl Jessie! I found this cupcake costume for $10 at Marshalls and couldn't pass it up! It was a hit and easy to wear as it rained all day, luckily it cleared enough for us to get out for a couple hours.
Enjoying all the fall leaves
Our neighbor, however, does not like all our leaves as he has complained twice about them. Oh well haha!
Love them!
That about sums it up! It was busy and fast, but filled with great memories. Just missing mom like always. On to Christmas!

Life ends during the fall.

I never thought of it that way before. It's true. Life ends in the fall. It returns in the spring. Life does go on. It's so hard to keep going on. Sometimes I don't want to go on. I miss my mom so much. Sometimes I feel like life is normal, the way it used to be, and then I'm suddenly jerked out of my little moment of peace and remember that she actually died. She is actually gone. I hate it. We are all still struggling with her loss. It's not 1% better. I'm afraid it never will be.
As life moves on we try do things to cheer us up. Fall is around the corner and we are loving the mild atumn weather. We have been busy keeping up with these crazy toddlers. Here is what they have been doing:
Visiting Kiupers family farm

Festing at my all time favorite fall celebration: festival of the vine!
I bought some handmade bows at the fest. So cute!!
A georgeous night for a fall fire!
A beautiful outdoor weekend!

Pre-K 3's class of 2015

The oldest apple of my eye returns to the cute little preschool program at a local baptist church. We look forward to seeing her grow and learn. She loves the teachers and friends she has made. It's a wonderful little program.
The first day was "Meet the teacher day" followed by the first half day of school.
We have been blessed with georgeous fall weather also! We have been having a great time outside enjoying the mild weather.
Grayson is our tag along :) he is so precious!
