Ringing in the new year!

We were so blessed to be able to take a quick trip to Minnesota right after Christmas. The girls were out of school and Justin and I had the time off so we took them to Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. We actually traveled somewhere colder than Chicago! It was intense polar weather as it was in the negative teens most of the time! Not to mention that we were all incredibly sick. I being six months pregnant, was hit very hard with that horrible upper respiratory and sinus infection that literally incapacitated me. I don't know how I made it through this trip with a smile on my face because it was so severe.

Isla was also incredibly sick along with me. We were doing multiple rounds of Tylenol together. Estelle was OK until the last day driving home. I could tell she was starting to feel ill. All in all it was a fun 3 nights considering the temperatures and sickness. I have realized I do not need to ever do the "polar plunge" as running outside in -15 degree weather with no coat on must be a similar feeling!!

Yay for being back home so we can all get over this sickness. Our next trip isn't until October when we go to Disney. I am trying to desperately convince Justin to go on a quick trip after the baby is born while I am already on maternity leave. Currently he is not buying it. We shall see if he changes his mind!
