Another difficult holiday missing my mom and now Adam. Despite Adam not being very present the last several years, we all still felt the gaping hole of another loved one taken from us too soon. Jill and I continued to host thanksgiving by splitting the meal. It has gotten smoother for us. The first year was a disaster. This is our third round and I must say the food was delicious.
I took many pictures of us as this is our last Thanksgiving as a family of 4. It was a busy weekend of shopping and relaxing. We enjoyed a great time at the light parade in STC. Justin worked the parade again and got to be at the City Hall box. That always so fun as we are right downtown in the middle of all the festivities!
We are always so chilled and hungry, but it's Saturday night and both Geneva and STC restaurants are packed! We have found a new tradition of post-parade Panera always warms us up!
We kicked off holiday season with bringing out our elf Mr. Bojingles and made a delicious gingerbread house.
I look forward to updating the blog on all the Christmas events coming up! Until then....
