We checked off Indiana for our 50 states challenge. We chose Indianapolis as it honestly seems to be the only city with anything to do! After some research, I found that Indy has the worlds largest children's museum. We instantly knew we had to see it. So we stayed in a fancy 4 star hotel and did some shopping, dining, and sight seeing. It was a short 2 night trip, but one greatly remembered. Indy is small & compact, but not very interesting with all due respect.
The weekend trip seems to be all we would ever need to experience in this city. If we ever returned we would definitely see the museum, but we both agreed we would not make a special trip for it.
