Spring has Sprung

The weather has definitely become warmer. The pool has officially opened. And although it isn't "officially" summer, it's starting to feel like it. We still have some peaks and valleys of temperatures around here, but overall it's warm and green!
I enjoyed a small break from school. I had about a month and a week off. It wasn't relaxing by any means. I had to study for extra assignments. It's relieving that those are complete and from now on any breaks I have will have be completely restful.
So what's happening in the pittard house?
Well the pool opened and the girls and I really enjoyed earlier hours and topical music that they have added to the ambiance!

We have been enjoying walks and playtime outside!
We have been gushing on baby Grayson!
We enjoyed a very low key Memorial Day. Almost all of my family opted out of a big BBQ this year. Our hearts we just not into making a big gathering. Nonetheless we had a small cookout and went for a long walk. Luckily the weather was lovely!
Isla had her last day of preschool in the 2's class. She had a wonderful year and totally blossomed! We are excited to return for the 3's class!
The cousins came to town! It's been fun watching the girls play together and grow close.
Isla and Hossana got to ride Rocky.
Auntie GiGi celebrated her graduation dinner! She completed her Bachelors in Business. We enjoyed fine Italians cuisine at Aurelio's. It was amazing pizza!
Grayson keeps growing!
We took the girls to Rainforest cafĂ© to visit with their cousin Avery. It did not go well with the three-year-olds. They had major meltdowns during the tropical thunder storms!
Nonetheless they had fun playing afterwards in a large soft play area. Avery was visited by my girls, Grayson, Hossana and Scarlett. It was a busy day and the girls did not go down for a nap until 3:30 PM. They were pooped and so was I! This spring has been so busy with things to see and do. If it's any indication of how summer will be, we are going to be very busy people! We are
moving forward in June preparing for Isla's birthday party. She is turning 3 (insert sobbing here). I have returned to school for 8 more weeks. I want these weeks to move swiftly, but then summer would be over. How time truly flies when you have children. We are always missing you mom. We wish you could spend this time with us.
